If it is a visit to one of South Devon’s outstanding beaches you are after, Hillfield Village near Dartmouth is ideally situated a short drive from Blackpool Sands, a sheltered Blue Flag award-winning shingle beach.  Brilliant for families, Blackpool Sands has The Venus Company beach side café and restaurant, serving hot and cold food, a beach shop and kayaks for hire.  With the woodland gardens, children’s play area and outdoor swimming pool, Hillfield Village has all the facilities you could possibly need to keep children entertained, allowing you to sit back and appreciate the peace and tranquility of this idyllic setting.  

For those keen to explore historical sites of interest, a visit to the viewing platform overlooking the ruins of Hallsands, a deserted fishing village set amongst South Devon’s rugged cliffs, is essential. 

The South West coastal footpath is perfect for walkers, keen to discover some of the UK’s most stunning coastline.  After a strenuous afternoon walking why not sit back and relax in your accommodations gardens or unwind in the outdoor heated swimming pool.
