It is accessed by road bridge or ferry, this property, the original house of the cable master of the Trans Atlantic Cable, built in 1873 is part of a converted stable block (7276 next door) adjacent to the owners bed and breakfast property. The conversion has a deceptively spacious living and dining area, decorated in a traditional manner with many original touches. Surrounded by wild open plan gardens full of shrubs wild flowers, bushes and rambling paths and where the owners grow all their own fruit and veg and where the hens and ducks live. Fresh Garden produce and eggs available for guests, It's a wonderful place to relax with your book or walk the island and enjoy the spectacular sea views. The local village has a tennis court, cricket, playground, park, sea sports, angling, marina, harbour, bookshop, launderette, sub tropical gardens, a pet farm, a candle factory, way marked walking trails and a ice cream parlourShop.
