The Ship Inn serves good meals as does the Beach Cafe which is well known for its fish and chips - enjoyed best on the beach. Dunwich adjoins Dingle Marshes Nature Reserve, Dunwich Heath (cliff top is National Trust owned) and Minsmere RSPB is only three miles by foot. Southwold and Aldeburgh are both ten miles away. Trains and buses can be found four miles away at Darsham. Tinker's Cottage is only 300 yards from the beach and has excellent walks from the doorstep. Close to the centre of the village, it has splendid views from the front windows across Walberswick Bay to Southwold. Shop: 2 miles Pub: 100 yards. Ground Floor: Sitting/Dining Room with TV, DVD player, music centre/CD player, large inglenook fireplace, dining table and chairs, Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, door to garden Bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, washbasin and w.c. Steep and winding cottage stairs to First Floor: Bedroom 1 with a double bed which leads to Bedroom 2 with a single bed and also stair access to Second Floor: Bedroom 3 with twin beds and exposed roof timbers Garden: Fully enclosed rear garden with furniture. Parking: Roadside. Heating: Central heating and open fire. Also Provided: Towels. Bike storage.
