North Elmham village has a general store, 2 pubs and a post office/cafe. It is also the site of an ancient Anglo/Saxon cathedral and Bishops palace. Less than an hours drive away from many historical places of interest, the fine city of Norwich, historic King's Lynn and Norfolk special wildlife sites. Surrounded by rolling countryside and quiet lanes it is a walkers and cyclists dream.

In addition to the lovely well-maintained grounds and riverside surroundings, The Beat offers its own peaceful orchard and river frontage together with fishing rights and you will certainly have the opportunity to observe some spectacular wildlife, otters, deer, owl, kingfisher.
