Sitting towards the edge of the fabulous Glaven Valley is the small village of Briston where traditional old houses surround the pretty village green. It is six miles from the traditional shops and eateries of Holt, from where one can also take a steam train to Kelling or the seaside town of Sheringham. National Cycle Routes 2 and 3 sit east and west of the village. The area is full of small villages; Hunworth, Stody and Heydon are definitely worth a visit.
