More about Rectory Cottage

Rectory Cottage, Alvescot is a truly classic Cotswolds cottage built in traditional stone under a Cotswold tile roof, but presented in a beautifully cool and contemporary style that makes it a stunning option for groups or families of up to 10 people. Set overlooking fields and surrounded by period Cotswold properties this delightful holiday cottage offers a very high standard of self catering accommodation. Internally, the owners have created a stunning home, which while contemporary it retains a wealth of period features that give a real sense of warmth and 'welcome'. The accommodation, which is set over three floors and with good size rooms throughout, has many period features through out. Including flagstone flooring, beams and mullion windows but of particular appeal is the kitchen which is, as they say, 'where the heart is': a gorgeous light room with a vaulted ceiling and Aga. When we visited the property we came away with the wow factor very much in our minds, we're confident that you'll feel just the same when you walk through the door too!
