Lakeside House is a listed 19th century Cotswold cottage located in a tranquil setting in the hamlet of Fossebridge, itself conveniently located between Stow on the Wold and Cirencester. The cottage sits in the grounds of the popular 'Inn at Fossebridge' and is adjacent to private grounds including a two acre lake full of aquatic wild life. (Access to the Inn is a short walk of perhaps 50 yds.) Traditionally furnished the property has spacious accommodation arranged over two floors making it ideal for group or family gatherings. On the ground floor, where there are two bedrooms, there are just two steps throughout (please ask for more information) making it appealing to those groups with limited mobility. The cottage grounds and garden are considered secure for young children.  SHORT BREAKS WELCOME YEAR ROUND, exc Xmas and New Year.Full English Breakfast can be ordered from the nearby Inn!!ACCOMMODATION:  Large Sitting Room with high ceiling and a wood burning stove, comfortably furnished with sofa and armchairs and some period antiques. State of the art Bang & Olufsen with full Sky package plus video and CD player TV Steps toBedroom One with King Size double bed, with Ensuite Bathroom WC and twin washbasins and separate shower. (There is a door to the outside from this bedroom.)  Kitchen with all 'mod cons' to include large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, electric oven and washing machine. Dining Area with refectory table to seat 10 people comfortably.  Bedroom Two with twin beds plus washbasin with lovely view towards the gardens and lakeCloakroom with WC and washbasin.Upstairs: Bedroom Three with king size bed with washbasin with lovely views. Bedroom Four with four single beds. Family Bathroom with bath, shower in the bath, wc & wash basin.Heating & electricity included all year round. Cot & High chair available. Ample off street parking. Refundable £200 breakages deposit required payable to owner on arrival. Z-bed available at £30 per night.One well-behaved pet welcome. No Smokers. Any day changeover. Short Breaks welcome year round. Free WiFi is now available.Fossebridge is located on the The Fosse Way, four miles north of Cirencester and seven miles south of Stow on the Wold. The picturesque Cotswold villages such as The,Rissingtons,Barringtons & Slaughters are close at hand,with Bourton on the Water just a few miles away.  The area around Fossebridge is rural England at its best with fascinating walks through the Coln Valley.The Roman Villa at Yanworth is worth a visit. The towns of Cheltenham and Oxford are both within quick driving distance. Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon are an easy day trip away.
