The view down from the house and out over the lake is stunning. A long nature trail leads down to the lake where you can fish, swim and water ski, makes a pleasant walk. The grounds are private and so the jetty there is all yours! There is a boat for hire to cross the lake to the beautiful Lough Key Forest Park or you may prefer to hire a bike to cycle the 3 miles. Boyle just 6 miles away visit King House, Boyle Abbey and the farmers market (Saturdays). Plenty of restaurants/bars locally offering very good value for money. An 18 hole golf course and Argina mountain mines close by.Shop 2½ miles. Pub 2 miles. Beach 25 miles. Lakeside on-site.
