This timber clad, barn conversion cottage with woodburning stove for 4 people is situated in the small village of Clive which is 9 miles from the historic market town of Shrewsbury in Shropshire.

Ivy Barn, as its name suggest, was originally a barn, built from traditional Grinshill sandstone. It has been lovingly restored to provide accommodation for groups of up to 4 people. Many of the barn’s original features have been incorporated into the conversion, such as oak beams, stone-slated floors and a wood-burning stove. All the accommodation is spread out over one floor and French windows from the sitting room lead to a small, charming garden; perfect for enjoying a spot of outdoor-dining in the summer months. Off-road parking for 2 cars is available, but the local shop is a short stroll away and the local pub is just over a mile away.

Gas central heating with woodburner in sitting room. Stoves Newhome dual fuel cooker with electric double oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, DVD, stereo/CD player. Telephone for outgoing calls (with honesty box). Fuel, power and starter pack of fuel for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden, two decked patio areas and garden furniture. Sorry, no pets or smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub/rest
