As the harbour is so close, enjoy a visit to Garnish Island, known throughout the world for its rare beauty and Italian garden (open March to October). Once there, you can enjoy looking towards the mainland, at the exceptional sea and mountain scenery. If you prefer to stick to land, the Glengarriff Woods Nature Reserve is the place to explore - take lunch with you, as there are plenty of picnic areas in the woods. This is a wonderful place for walkers and lovers of rugged scenery.Shop 75 yards. Pub. Restaurant 100 yards. Beach 30 miles. Sandy Beach 4 miles. GF: lounge, lounge/diner, kitchen.
