Melton Park, which possesses an interesting Norman church, was laid out by Capability Brown in 1764/69, and lies in the heart of open countryside. The park is five miles from the Georgian market town of Holt, nine miles from Blakeney, Cley and the North Norfolk coast, and ten miles from Cromer. Holkham Hall, with its stately home and deer park is some fourteen miles away, and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, near Fakenham, is seven miles. Blickling Hall, near Aylsham and Felbrigg Hall, near Sheringham, are also within easy driving distance.

Dairyman's Cottage is a single-storey, semi-detached property, all on one level about five miles from the Georgian town of Holt. It forms one wing of the owners' house. It is part of an exclusive small development, formerly a dairy farm. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation in a peaceful and attractive location.
