Coots, along with its sister properties Mallards and Drakes, are all located in Hengar Manor Country Park. Situated a few miles inland from the dramatic North Cornwall coastal towns of Wadebridge, Padstow and Camelford and in an area known for its natural beauty, Hengar Manor offers peace and quiet amongst its 35 acres of gardens, woodland and three fishing lakes. On site facilities also include an outdoor woodland playground, as well as indoor leisure centre with swimming pool and slides and a spa and beauty centre. With such comprehensive leisure facilities on site there really is no need to venture further afield, as no matter how the weather is, there is entertainment for all ages on site. For those wishing to explore the area there are many famous towns, villages or gardens to visit close by, as well as gorgeous beaches within a few miles from Padstow to Tintagel.

Coots is a compact single storey bungalow and is part of a terrace of five properties. A slightly sloping pathway leads to the small front patio area where garden furniture allows you to enjoy the sunshine. You may have to share this space with the resident Mallard and Duck families who have decided it's easy to get some lunch hereby. The front door opens into the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Comfortable seating separates the dining area and the compact kitchen provides all the essential equipment needed for holiday meals. However with an on-site restaurant offering Italian food and a tavern bar offering a more traditional menu, you may find you eat in less than expected. The small double bedroom and a further twin room share the family bathroom with WC, basin and shower over the bath. Heating throughout the bungalow is from night storage heaters with extra independent heaters if required, ensuring you stay is warm and cosy all year round. Coots makes a great economical base on Hengar Manor Country Park, where there is access to three very well stocked fishing lakes and an 18 hole pitch and putt golf course.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Entrance direct into living/dining/kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, TV with Freeview and DVD. Bedroom 1 with Double. Bedroom 2 with Twin. Family bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and Towels. Electric NSH. Wi-Fi Broadband on site. Regret no pets. No smoking. Garden furniture. Parking for 1 car, further central parking. Short breaks available. No cot is provided, please bring your own travel cot. 3pm arrival time. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Friday.
