Truly superb location approached by narrow lanes winding through rolling countryside. The elevated setting commands panoramic views out to sea and across the broad sweep of Woolacombe Bay - extending from the cliff top walks of the National Trust's Baggy Point, along a three mile expanse of clean, golden sands and to the historic headland village on Morte Point. A short stroll down through the grassy cliff slopes brings you onto acres of soft, warm sand that is recognised by many as North Devon's finest beach, officially acknowledged as being one of the eight cleanest bathing beaches in the UK. This is a safe and fascinating environment for children, sheltered by cliffs and with many rock pools. Conditions are also often ideal for surfing and windsurfing yet, with so little nearby development and somewhat obscure access, the sands are never overcrowded. Quite exceptionally stimulating walks can also be enjoyed directly from the grounds especially along the National Trust coastal path on Baggy Point where views extend across Croyde and Bideford Bay and to Lundy Island. Sunsets viewed from Putsborough are often truly remarkable.

All the amenities of the picturesque village of Croyde - with its character thatched pubs and restaurants, riding stables, leisure pool with flumes etc - are just a mile distant. Woolacombe and the championship golf course at Saunton are within a five minute drive, with Ilfracombe, Braunton and Barnstaple also easily accessible.

Converted and considerably enhanced from its former hotel status, the development has been designed to offer elegant and high quality accommodation in a setting which should revitalise the most jaded of spirits.

The apartment is furnished and equipped to high standards throughout, including a Dimplex 'total heating' system and double glazing, to add to the excellent facilities and position of the property. Two bedrooms with fitted wardrobes - double and twin (2'6") bedded room. Bathroom/ wc with hand shower and additional shower room/wc with hand basin. Dual aspect very comfortable living/dining room with TV, DVD, panoramic views, small double bed-settee (for one) and patio doors to large balcony with deckchairs supplied. Kitchen area off with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. 35 approach steps with several landings. There is ample private car parking adjoining and communal grounds with shrubs and flower beds.
