Opposite the property is the cricket green and a park with a children s play area. The area is perfect for walkers with woodland walks and an abundance of wildlife on the doorstep and only a stone s throw from the Tarka Trail where you can enjoy traffic-free walking and cycling (bike and canoe hire available locally). There is also the opportunity to launch canoes. Westward Ho! with 2 miles of golden sands is a short drive away. The nearby town of Bideford offers shops pubs restaurants and day trips to Lundy Island. Torrington is 3 miles away and offers shops golf indoor swimming pool The Plough Arts Centre which houses a cinema and theatre and Dartington Crystal where you can watch glass being blown and even have a go yourself. The accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms: 3 doubles and 2 twin bedrooms all with vanity units and 2 with built in wardrobes. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Separate WC also on the first floor. Shower room located on the ground floor. Lounge: reached via a step down spacious room with electric effect woodburner SkyTV with sky sports and movies package and seating for 10. Snug room: with seating beanbags TV/DVD and games. Kitchen/diner: a large traditional room accessed via one step down from the lounge utility and stairs with open fire electric cooker fridge/freezer microwave and with views over the road to the playing field. Utility: with dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. A large lobby with shoe rack and storage for coats etc. Outside: patio to front of property with table and seating. Access to the large beautifully presented garden with BBQ and seating area. Amenities: off-road parking for 4 or 5 cars opposite the property. Bed linen towels hairdryer electric central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking in the house. Regret no pets. Location: beach 6 miles shop 3 miles pub walking distance.
