A perfect position for enjoying the stunning scenery the area has to offer with the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons being a short drive away. The area is particularly famed for its relaxed pace of life and wonderful walks in virtually every direction which culminates with the Crickhowell Walking Festival in March. Immerse yourselves in Welsh cultural history with a visit to one of many historic houses gardens and castles the nearest being Tretower Court and Castle which is a classic moat and bailey castle nearly 1000 years old. There are a wealth of attractions including the National Park Visitor Centre Craig-y-Nos Country Park Dan-yr-Ogof and The National Showcaves of Wales The Brecon Mountain Railway Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal South Wales Borderers Museum and Abergavenny Castle and Museum to name a few within reach. Other events well worth noting are The Hay Festival of Literature and The Brecon Jazz Festival. Outside: use of communal grounds and seating areas. Amenities: ample parking.
