The fine sandy beach at Instow is therefore easily accessible via a short scenic drive or enjoyable level walk or cycle on the Tarka Trail. The town centre amenities of Barnstaple including indoor swimming pool theatre cinema and wide range of shops pubs and restaurants are within a mile.
