1 OF 2 PROPERTIES ON SITE, 150 ACRES, CATTLE AND SHEEP, PERFECT RETREAT IN PICTURESQUE COUNTRYSIDE SURROUNDINGS, GAMES BARN AND HOT TUB, AND WITHINEASY REACH OF THE BEACHNEW YEAR BREAK - DECORATED TREE AND COMPLIMENTARY MINCE PIES WITH MULLED WINE ON ARRIVAL Situated in a quiet and peaceful setting with picturesque views across open fields towards Holsworthy. With a fully-fenced fishing lake, there is an extremely attractive and abundant mixture of flora and fauna around the many fields which are well worth a stroll. The nearby cattle market town of Holsworthy offers a sports centre where you can enjoy a swim in the indoor heated pool, visit the weekly cattle and pannier market or enjoy a game of golf, go fishing, riding or just take a leisurely country stroll. Enjoy the Holsworthy cycle route which has now opened. The dramatic North Cornish coastline, surfing beaches and seaside attractions at Bude are only a short drive and the rugged scenery of Dartmoor, Exmoor or Bodmin Moor are within easy distance. There are numerous tourist attractions in the area such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal, The Tamar Otter Park, King Arthur's Tintagel and National Trust properties are just a selection. Leisure facilities: shared hot tub endgames barn: with pool table, table tennis and darts. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen and electric included. Night storage heating. Towels for hire. This upside-down style accommodation is furnished to an extremely high standard and retains much of its original charm and character with exposed beams to the upper floor areas. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: downstairs, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk bedroom or a single. Bathroom: with separate shower cubicle and WC. Lounge: on the first floor with electric fire, TV, Freeview and DVD. Kitchen/diner: upstairs, well-equipped L-shaped room with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and radio. Outside: enclosed garden and patio with BBQ. Should guests wish to share their holiday with friends, Lamerton Barn (LAMER) is found just across from Shepherds Rest .Short breaks are available in both properties.
