Lanivet is often referred to as the centre of Cornwall with easy access to coasts, Fowey (10 miles) and Rock (16 miles) and all of the county's beauty spots. From the cottage you can visit the local village pubs at Lanivet (2 miles), Luxulyan (3 miles) and Lanlivery (4 miles). The Eden Project is 5 miles away and the spectacular National Trust Lanhydrock House and Gardens are only 3 miles away. For the sporting enthusiast, there is also a magnificent 18 hole golf course at Lanhydrock, and there are excellent equestrian facilities at Barguse Riding Centre which is only 1.5 miles away. The area is popular for walkers with a nature reserve nearby and Helman Tor where you can enjoy coast to coast views. The accommodation has been newly renovated and equipped to a high standard with real oak flooring throughout and offers THREE bedrooms: 1 king-size with Freeview TV and en-suite shower room with large shower, WC and heated towel-rail. 1 double bedroom with zip-and-link bed (can be made into twin on request) and en-suite shower room with WC and heated towel rail. Twin bedroom with extra pull-out single. Bathroom: family size with shower over bath, WC and heated towel-rail. Lounge/kitchen/diner: impressive area with vaulted ceiling and central 3-sided wood burner (first basket of logs free). Comfortable leather sofas set around the flat screen TV, DVD and hi-fi with iPod dock. Ample seating around the dining table. Fully equipped to a high standard with oil-fired Heritage range cooker, additional electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Outside: French doors lead onto the patio area and the enclosed South facing garden. BBQ and garden furniture (stored in the 8m x 2.7m adjacent store barn, where bikes can also be stored).
