It has been refurbished to a good standard and offers a perfect retreat for those wanting to explore both these charming counties. The cottage garden is enclosed and up to 2well behaved dogs are welcome. The property is only a 5 minute drive from both the A30 and the A303 therefore within a 30 minutes drive there is something to suit everyone. You can visit many National Trust and Stately Homes including Stourhead, Montacute, Wilton House, Longleat House and Safari Park, Tintinhulland Lytes Cary Manor. There is also Stonehenge, Clarks shopping Village in Street and Glastonbury Tor. You are only 10 minutes from the famous Wincanton Racecourse www.wincantonracecourse.co.uk, and for keen golfers there is a choice of courses within a 10 mile radius of the property. Further afield you have the towns and cities of Bath, Bristol, Taunton, Exeter, Sailsbury, Poole and Bournemouth, the Dorset and Somerset coasts and The New Forest. Enjoy lovely countryside walks including a stroll to the Stapleton Arms public house with its award winning food and ales. Leisure facilities: spend your time relaxing in the hot tub in the walled rose garden adjacent to the cottage. Outside: enclosed cottage garden with summer house, BBQ and garden furniture. Amenities: off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. 2 well behaved dogs welcome but must not be left unattended in the property at any time. Regret no smoking allowed in the property. Location: swimming pool and leisure centre 3 miles, beach 1 hour drive, shops 3 miles and pubs 1 mile.
