Further afield is the English Riviera offering some of the best beaches in the country with sheltered bays coves and rock pools the perfect arena to watch or partake in any number of water sports including scuba diving and sailing. Torquay is also a short drive where you ll find the palm-lined promenade seafront gardens a lively harbour and an international marina.
