It is situated just outside the village of Buckland Brewer with its popular 13th century public house/restaurant which is recommended in the Good Pub Guide and also a health spa with indoor heated swimming pool sauna and gymnasium. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation and shares a magnificent setting of established lawned areas with trees and a woodland area with a pond all a paradise for children and country lovers alike. Corner Cottage is a marvellous base from which to explore Devon or North Cornwall and equally a haven of peace and quiet to return to at the end of the day where you can just sit back and relax in the garden with a good book or a glass of wine. The property offers easy access to the South West Coast Path where there is a wide choice of excellent surfing beaches to choose from. The Tarka Trail offers good walking and cycling and Dartmoor and Exmoor are also within easy reach with its rugged and spectacular scenery. The nearby market towns of Bideford and Barnstaple are only a short drive with a wide range of shops pubs and restaurants. Other family attractions nearby and well worth a look include The Big Sheep The Milky Way Adventure Park RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal.
