Nestling on the edge of bustling Okehampton and with Dartmoor National Park a 5 minute walk away you won t be short of inspiration when it comes to days out. The town itself boasts a cinema choice of pubs and restaurants a good selection of antiques shops and a popular art gallery the Museum of Rural Crafts castle ruins to explore and access to the Granite Way cycle path. Next door is Adventure Okehampton with over 20 activities to enjoy. The beautifully rugged Dartmoor is virtually on your doorstep and is a haven for walkers and nature lovers. Given the easy access to the A30 you are also well-placed to enjoy the popular tourist destinations and seaside towns of the south coast to the unspoilt fishing villages scattered across the north. The picturesque cathedral city of Exeter is a short drive away and The Eden Project 1 hour by car. Leisure facilities: lovely Canadian cedar wood hot tub in pretty secluded setting available for guests to use (by arrangement with the owner). The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: with king-size double and French doors to small courtyard area. Shower room: with WC. Lounge/diner: with TV/DVD feature original fireplace with woodburner effect electric fire and French doors to garden. Kitchen: modern fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob fridge/freezer and microwave. Regret no washing machine. Outside: enclosed lawn garden to the front of the property with garden furniture and small courtyard area to the rear. Amenities: private off-road parking for 1 car. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking inside the property. 2 small or 1 medium sized dog welcome; please kindly ensure that they are kept out of the bedroom. Additional info: there is no cot or high chair at the property however guests are welcome to bring their own. Location: selection of pubs shops and eateries within walking distance. Arrival: 5pm.
