It is off the beaten track with no through traffic and comprises pretty cottages grouped around the green and overlooked by the church - it is one of Suffolk's best kept secrets. Minsmere nature reserve is only three and a half miles away (less by foot), Dunwich and the coast four miles, Southwold ten miles, Aldeburgh seven miles. Attractively furnished and thoughtfully refurbished to the highest standard. 1 Stone Cottage provides the perfect base from which to explore the Suffolk Heritage Coast and is suitable for families and couples. The accommodation is light and airy and equipped with everything you may need for your stay. With a safe, enclosed garden, designated parking and a position in the centre of the village, it is ideal for both families and couples. Shop: 0.5 miles Pub: 0.1 miles. Ground Floor: Sitting Room with Flat Screen TV, Freeview, DVD, CD player, iPod docking station and a wood burning stove Kitchen is a beautiful hand-built, painted kitchen, with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher Dining Room hand-built dresser, table and chairs Utility Room with washer/dryer, washbasin and w.c. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with a double bed Bedroom 2 with twin beds Bedroom 3 with a single bed and child’s pull out truckle bed Bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, washbasin and w.c. Logs for the wood burning stove can be purchased from 'Emmerdale' Farmshop in Middleton. Pets: One well-behaved dog allowed, to be kept downstairs at all times and off the furniture.
