In an enviable position in the centre of Oulton Broad (pictured) this pleasing cottage and its courtyard garden sit only 50 yards from a park and the broad itself where visitors can hire a boat take riverboat trips or simply enjoy the waterborne world going by. The end one of an attractive row Waveney Cottage is ideally placed for exploring the area's many delights with Lowestoft's Blue Flag beaches (1½ miles) speed boat racing on Oulton Broad Somerleyton Hall and gardens and family fun at Pleasurewood Hills and Great Yarmouth all a short drive as are Southwold's summer theatre and traditional pier (12 miles) Aldeburgh Dunwich Heath and RSPB Minsmere. Shops pubs and restaurants 20 yards.
