Set on a hillside overlooking the countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, these two 17th-century converted barns, adjacent to the owners’ home, combine mellow stone walls and old beams with the highest standard of comfort, each with its own private garden and patio. This is an excellent holiday base for exploring both Devon and Cornwall with the Eden Project, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and several magnificent National Trust houses and gardens within easy reach. Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow and the stunning Cornish coastal path are also nearby, whilst the beaches and sandy coves offer a walker’s paradise. The historic market town of Launceston, 5 miles, provides shops, sports facilities and a castle. The area boasts a growing reputation for good pubs, restaurants and locally produced food. Golf courses, fishing and horse riding are available locally. Shops 2 miles.
