Cottages in the quiet countryside of a land steeped in legends . . .

Situated north of Bodmin Moor in the parish of Advent, just two miles from Camelford, is Trethin. Once a working farm, its traditional farm buildings now form a cluster of holiday cottages in lovely surroundings. The cottages are set close to the main house which is one of the oldest houses in Cornwall. The cottages are set in well-maintained grounds with lawned areas, flowering shrubs and mature trees. The shared grounds provide plenty of space for relaxation, with the addition of a games field for children with a climbing frame, a swing and slide. There is also a games room with table tennis and pool table.
There are plenty of golf courses nearby, as well as the popular fishing villages of Port Isaac and Padstow, and lovely beaches at Polzeath and Trebarwith. The coastal footpath offers excellent walking and the holiday cottages offer a peaceful and convenient base from which to enjoy it. Shops/restaurants 1½ miles.

"Everything provided, even bedding and towels. Property was very cosy and having the separate bedroom for our toddler was good. Also they provided a high chair and cot at no charge which is good to see these days. There is also a ’stable’ type"
