Dating back to the 1600s this beautiful, detached, listed Georgian House nestles in the tiny hamlet of Wansford opposite the running waters of the Driffield Canal. Beautifully furnished and decorated throughout this is the perfect holiday location for a special celebration or family get together. A perfect place for exploring the stunning countryside of Yorkshire with easy access to the Yorkshire Wolds, the Howardian Hills and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Ideal for families, adults and children alike with canal cruises, river, lake and pond fishing, an 18 hole golf course, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, a parachute and gliding centre, all within a 12-mile drive. A short drive leads into the coastal resorts of Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey where Blue Flag sandy beaches stretch for miles and the colourful promenades are lined with inns, tea rooms and restaurants. Experience some true British heritage by visiting some of the stately homes, castles and abbeys in the area, such as Burton Agnes Hall known for its collection of Renoir and Monet paintings, or Sledmere Hall with beautiful gardens, both within a 20-minute drive. The wonderful market town of Beverley, where the ancient cobbled streets are lined with quaint little shops and the friendly locals are waiting to greet visitors, is a mere 12 miles. Driffield market town is but 2 miles from the property and still hosts a weekly market and a farmers’ market once a month. There really is something for all the family here, with a large selection of activities on offer. Shops 2 miles, pub/restaurant 400 yards.

Twin bedroom with zip & link beds and en-suite bathroom with toilet. Second floor: Two beamed twin bedrooms, each with zip & link beds. Shower room and toilet.
