In a wonderfully peaceful, rural setting on the owner's farm 2 miles from Newmachar, this charming cottage lies just off a quiet country road and enjoys a sunny aspect with lovely views over the countryside to the city of Aberdeen, 10 miles away. Originally a traditional farm cottage, the property has been extended and fully modernised to offer a very comfortable, tastefully decorated home from home. The private, enclosed garden faces south and there is a patio and seating area to relax and fully appreciate the lovely view from this elevated position. All rooms are on ground level. This convenient location provides excellent opportunities for exploring quiet country roads or enjoying the beaches and picturesque villages of the Moray Firth coastline as well as the excellent facilities of Aberdeen - the Granite City. Easy day trips can be taken to Royal Deeside, Balmoral Castle and the magnificent mountain scenery and outdoor activities of the Cairngorm National Park. Newmachar has 2 championship golf courses and a lovely historic inn serving excellent food. 2 double and 1 twin bedroom (cot available), lovely comfortable living/dining room, galley style kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath. Cooking by electricity, oil-fired central heating. Fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, Freeview television, DVD player. Bed linen and towels provided.
