This cosy character holiday cottage enjoys a sunny aspect and a garden which, in summer, is awash with colourful flowers. Dating back almost 200 years, it is a real romantic hideaway. Visitors will find that there is open countryside on the other side of the lane and very good access to numerous places of interest; including Burford, Stratford, Oxford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Blenheim Palace and Snowshill Manor (NT). Charlbury 4 miles. Cotswold Wildlife Park within an easy drive. Leisure centre 7 miles. The village of Shipton-under-Wychwood with 3 pubs is ½ mile away and lies in the valley of the River Evenlode. Shop 1 mile.

    "Lovely little cottage, much larger than it looks from the pictures and with a fantastic outside space. Short walk to two great pubs - the food at the shaven crown was particularly good. All in all an excellent break. Sept 2011."

    "Was a truly lovely little property. Would be perfect in the summer in particular as there was a deck table and chairs & BBQ. In a lovely quiet location. There was also a log fire and enough fuel to last for about 2 days, more can easily be bought locally."
