Nestling between the heart of the forest and the banks of Loch Lubnaig in an area of outstanding natural beauty yet just 40 miles from Glasgow they are also the perfect choice for romantic breaks and active family holidays. Breathtaking views abound the local landscape is a paradise for nature lovers and a wealth of activities including water sports can be found nearby. Mountain bikes are available for hire at Strathyre Forest there is shop and coffee lounge as well as a children's play area and visitors can join a number of ranger led activities. The town of Callander (4 miles) supplies a range of food craft and souvenir shops restaurants pubs and bars.
