This large and spacious detached holiday home faces directly south and has the added benefit of shared use of a private beach. The golden sand of Duporth beach is accessed by a gated path just minutes from the property. Coast is set on the dramatic St Austell bay and has superb views across the sea and along the coast. The historic Charlestown with its bars, pubs, museum, restaurants and shops is also minutes away and is often used as a film and TV set due to its original features. It is also home to traditional tall ships which are often moored at the quay. The beautiful seafaring town of Fowey is close by as is the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan plus many National Trust houses and gardens which thrive in this gentle, warm and sheltered area of Cornwall’s south coast. A nearby watersports and outdoor centre provides the active with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the area first hand. While the golden beaches at Pentewan, Porthpean and Fowey provide the essential ingredient for that perfect family holiday. Cycling, sailing, kayaking and horse riding are all available locally. Truro, Padstow and Newquay are all easily reached and all provide a different view of this historic county. Shop and pub ½ mile.
