Accessed via a single track lane and nestled amongst traditional farm buildings on a 300-acre organic working beef farm, Cider Cottage is a detached, single-storey barn conversion which boasts a vaulted ceiling. It lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with walks abounding from the doorstep in this popular part of East Sussex. Visit Battle Abbey, the cobbled streets of the Cinque Port of Rye and the smugglers’ caves at Hastings. There are many National Trust properties and gardens in the area including Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Scotney Castle and Wakehurst Place. Shop and pub 2 miles.
