Brimming with character this charmingly decorated and smartly furnished wing of an old famhouse sits at the edge of a residential courtyard in the peaceful rural hamlet of Palterton. A ¾ mile country footpath walk leads to Bolsover a village boasting one of England's most beautiful castles as well as a variety of shops pubs and cafes (1½ miles by road). Hardwick Hall (N.T.) is under 4 miles Chesterfield is 5 miles and Chatsworth House Matlock Bath Crich Tramway Museum Clumber Park Sherwood Forest Go Ape Go Karting and Centreparcs (day tickets available) are all within 15 miles. Bakewell with its famous puddings and Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping Arena and Don Valley Stadium are 18 miles.
