Within walking distance of the historic city centre, this elegant Victorian house, one of a pair, is perfectly placed for exploring the many delights of the area. Spread over four floors with all five bedrooms with en-suite facilities, Buckingham House has a sunny courtyard garden to the rear. As one of the best preserved walled cities in the British Isles, Chester has much to offer the visitor - from the complete circuit of the city walls, the historic cathedral whose roots date back to 66AD, the unique medieval shopping rows in the four main streets radiating out from the Chester Cross, to the Grosvenor Museum and Deva Roman Experience telling the story of Roman Chester.
A delightful walk along the riverside through Handbridge brings you to the city centre, which, as well as its history, offers a huge selection of shops, cafés, restaurants and lively nightlife. The famous Chester Zoo is a short distance away as is the Blue Planet Aquarium. Rural Cheshire, with its picturesque villages, the vibrant city of Liverpool and North Wales with rolling hills and sandy beaches are all within easy reach. Shop and pub ½ mile.
