This delightful detached holiday cottage, full of character with vaulted ceilings and beams, is a listed building set in pretty gardens and surrounded by 4 acres of undulating pastureland alongside the banks of Alwent Beck. Surrounded by beautiful countryside for walking and cycling, and is just 2 miles from Raby Castle, with its deer park, while slightly further is Barnard Castle and the Bowes Museum, 5 miles. Centrally located to explore the Durham Dales, Yorkshire Dales and the magnificent sandy Northumbrian beaches and historic castles. The Lake District is within an hour’s drive. Shop and pub 1 mile.
