A picturesque 200-year-old weatherboarded, single-storey holiday cottage standing detached close to Bewl Water, the largest inland water in the southeast, which not only provides a home to over 3000 wildlife species, but also offers fly fishing (equipment can be hired), or hydroballing. The keen gardener is catered for at Merriments, 4 acres of dense planting originally started as a display garden for the nursery, Pashley Manor, Scotney Castle and Sissinghurst. Shop and pub ¼ mile.

Open-plan living room with gas ‘wood burner’, tiled floor, step to dining room and kitchen area with stable door to garden. Utility. Conservatory. Two double bedrooms, one with 5ft four poster bed. Single bedroom with additional pull-out single bed (for +1). Step down to bathroom with separate shower cubicle and toilet. Beamed throughout, some low doorways.
