A perfect venue for large groups and families with exclusive use of its own outdoor swimming pool (heated from May Spring Bank holiday until end of August). This substantial detached, period house stands in enclosed gardens of approximately 8 acres, with a large, fenced pond and summer house. The impressive entrance hall has wood block flooring and many rooms include decorative period details. A spacious, well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room leads to the conservatory which opens onto the seating terrace, there is a spacious dining room, open fires in the living room and the impressive drawing room which leads to the garden room and opens to the garden, perfect for special occasions. All the bedrooms are located on the first floor and these include a spacious four poster double bedroom and a family bedroom. Alby Hall stands secluded and is situated alongside the A140 Cromer to Norwich road. Lying just 5 miles from the lovely holiday seaside town of Cromer with sandy beach, pier (hosting live entertainment during the summer season), promenade gardens, RNLI Lifeboat Station and Museum, pitch and putt, golf course and many shops, cafes and restaurants. Cromer boasts a carnival week held during the third week of August and fireworks over the water on New Years Day. The fine city of Norwich is a 30 minute drive, with two excellent shopping malls, theatre, restaurants, cafes, museum, cathedral, art galleries, bowling and much more. Many National Trust properties and places of historical interest surround the area and are within an easy drive. Shop 50 yards, pub 2 miles.
