Elegant living, perfect location, Admiral House is a detached property situated just a short walk from the beach and town, making the ideal choice for a traditional seaside holiday, family celebration or get together with friends. A shingle driveway leads to this charming Queen Anne style facade with a modern, spacious interior offering comfortable reception rooms, pleasantly decorated bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a secluded sunny rear garden where guests can relax and take a glass of wine before dinner or enjoy a quiet coffee.
Close by is Aldeburgh’s unspoilt beach and charming high street which has changed little from Victorian times although now boasting a range of exclusive shops, high quality restaurants, art galleries and even an award-winning fish and chip shop not to be missed! With a sailing club, golf course and tennis courts to meet the needs of the more active, specialist wine shops, museum and independant cinema can also be found, for those looking for a more relaxing stay. Famous for its musical connections with the composer Benjamin Britten and the tenor Peter Pears, the annual Aldeburgh Festival is held at the nearby Snape Maltings. Admiral House is an ideal base for exploring the Heritage coastal towns and villages such as Southwold, Dunwich, Walberswick, Thorpeness and Orford - all are well worth a visit.
