Nestling in the shadow of the famous Lion and the Lamb and Helm Crag, 2 Town Head Cottages enjoys a most envious position in one of the Lake Districts much-loved villages. Built at the end of the 17th century, this traditional cottage is set among other farm buildings on the fringes of the village, just beyond the Travellers Rest, so enjoys wonderful views and a truly rural and unique holiday experience. The cottage offers comfortable, spacious accommodation and has recently been upgraded to provide to include a modern bathroom that combines well with the more traditional furnishings. The feature cast iron range in the lounge is ideal for those colder evenings, the deep windowsills in the lounge and bedrooms just the spot for gazing out over sheep dotted fields to the village and fells beyond.
