Converted to a high standard, this detached holiday cottage lies in the quiet hamlet of Woolley, between Bude and Clovelly, 3 miles from Welcombe. Country and woodland walks abound, and the coastal path offers stunning views. The hamlet boasts the finest example of a Neolithic long barrow in Cornwall, and is 3 miles from Kilkhampton (with P.O., 2 pubs, takeaway, shops). Three other fine pubs within a 3-4 mile radius, including the 13th-century Bush Inn, renowned as a meeting place for smugglers and wreckers. Shop 3 miles.

Well-equipped kitchen/dining room with oak beams, range, and terracotta-tiled floor. One step to living room with multi-fuel burner in feature inglenook, and rug on elm floor. Oak staircase to first floor: Landing with built-in office area with bed (for +1) and shower room with toilet. Two double bedrooms; one with 5ft bed, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room and toilet, one with extra single bed (for +1). Both bedrooms with TV, oak wash stand, wash basin, sloping ceiling, and pine floor.

    "It was really clean and warm and had a cosy feel. The caretaker and owner were very helpful indeed, responding immediately when we had a slight problem with the cooker one day. The weather wasn’t too good whilst we were there but we had a library of"
