This charming cottage with its own secluded rear garden, occupies a wonderfully peaceful location overlooking Siblyback Dam and open countryside, 8 miles from the sandy beach at Looe. Attached to the owners’ home, it stands in 2-acre grounds with a footpath running to the lake where various water sports and fishing are available. Nearby are the spectacular Golitha Falls and Bodmin Moor offering excellent walking. Several National Trust properties within easy reach and the Eden Project is a 40-minute drive. Shop 2 miles, pub 3 miles.

Beamed living room with electric fire, terracotta floor, stone seat and stable door. Small, well-equipped open-plan, modern kitchen/dining room with terracotta-tiled floor and exterior stable door. First floor: Two bedrooms with sloping ceilings; one double and one twin. Shower room with toilet. All rooms are beamed and have views across open countryside and Sibleyback Dam.
