Tucked quietly just off the main village street this charming and comfortably furnished cottage lies within 50 yards of a general store and within 400 yards' level walk visitors will find more shops a local pub museum tea room/restaurant Jacobean Eyam Hall (with restaurant and craft centre) and many sites of historic interest. Extensive local footpaths cross beautiful countryside and moorlands a gliding club (2 miles) offers starter lessons and golf riding and fishing can all be enjoyed nearby. Bakewell with lively Monday market Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are all about 6 miles.

    "A fabulous location and a lovely little cottage with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The aga was fantastic. I burnt the baked apples in the top oven but that was my fault as I should have moved them down to the bottom oven. The rice pudding"
