In the glorious setting of the Cotswold Hills this beautifully converted old stables makes an ideal base for exploring a myriad fascinating attractions including the elegant city of Bath (20 miles) Westonbirt Arboretum and the antique shops of Tetbury. Adjoining the owners' home it sits on their working farm in the attractive village of Sherston just ¼ mile from shops and inns serving food and 5 miles from Malmesbury's good shops gardens and abbey. Cotswold Water Park is within easy reach and Broadway Stow-on-the-Wold Burford Bibury and Oxford are all well worth a visit as are Lacock Abbey and Dyrham Park (N.T.). Swindon's famous railway museum and outlet shopping are 20 miles.

Spacious beamed well equipped kitchen with dining area. Three steps down to very comfortable sitting room with electric fire. Shower room/WC. First floor: Beamed double bedroom with 5' bed. Twin bedded room. Small single bedroom. Bathroom/WC.

"We had a lovely time in the Old Stables. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The pictures did not do it justice! The cottage was in close proximity to the village and we enjoyed a nice walk and a good pub lunch! 14/0"

"The location is ideal if you want to visit both Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. Sherston is a lovely little village and the pack with local walks that was available at the cottage for was great especially good for those of us with a dog. 28/08/2010 04:24:35"
