This detached holiday cottage is situated in the owners’ grounds on the edge of the historic Cinque Port of Sandwich. A short stroll leads to the heart of this unique medieval town where Strand Street presents the longest stretch of timber framed buildings in the country! Take a boat trip from beautiful Sandwich Quay along the River Stour to Richborough Roman Fort and explore the Roman gateway to Kent. Visit the National Nature Reserve and Bird Observatory at Sandwich and Pegwell Bay, one of the most beautiful stretches of the Kent Coast. Three golf courses including the Championship Royal St Georges are close by. Shops and pub ¼ mile.

Beamed open-plan living/dining room with French doors, wooden floor, vaulted ceiling and sitting area. Shower room with large shower and toilet. Study/small library with electric ‘coal-effect’ fire. Narrow stairs to mezzanine with 5ft double bed and sloping ceiling.

    "A lovely property, lovingly developed from the original Forge, by the present owner. All fixtures and fittings were of high quality, although the promised dvd player was not evident. However, this did not detract from our stay. There is a pleasant sitting"
