More about The Forge

Delightful former blacksmith’s forge dating back to the 18th century, featuring the original beams, a canopied open fire and a wrought-iron spiral staircase. Close to the owners’ home, it stands within its own garden down a country lane, within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Local walking books are provided to help explore the surrounding area and the nearby Malvern Hills. The Three Counties Showground is 5 minutes away and there is also easy access to Malvern itself, Upton on Severn, Eastnor Castle, Ledbury, Tewkesbury and Worcester. It is a short walk to the village green, shops and pub. There are many festivals and tourist attractions held locally throughout the year, but none near enough to spoil the tranquillity of the holiday cottage. Shops ½ mile.

Entrance porch. Beamed living/dining room with wood-burning stove and farmhouse-style kitchen. Twin bedroom. Bathroom with over-bath shower. Gallery first floor landing: Beamed double bedroom with Victorian antique bed and Velux windows. Bathroom with toilet.

"Lovely cottage in a lovely location (although much nearer to the road than it appears in the photographs). We really enjoyed our 2 night break and wished it could have been longer. Very cosy and warm and everything you could possibly want is catered for,"
