Regional Winner of the Northern Counties Master Builder of the Year award in 2006, this refurbished property with its atrium-style ceiling is set in its own 1 acre of tranquil and peaceful woodland. Standing detached, this unusual yet modern bothy house boasts breathtaking sunsets from the glorious south-facing windows. The picturesque town of Ponteland is close by and has shops and pubs suitable for all ages. Easily accessible are the stunning attractions of the North East including Hadrian’s Wall, The Cheviots and the beautiful heritage coastline of Northumberland. Popular Newcastle with its upmarket quayside area provides a variety of exciting activities. Shop 11/2 miles, pubs 2½ miles.

Spacious open-plan living/dining room with wood-burning stove, atrium roof, full length windows with woodland views. Large kitchen area with free-standing units and stainless steel worktops. Double bedroom with 5ft 6in bed and en-suite shower room with low step into double shower. Solid oak floors and doors throughout. First floor: Large galleried glass landing area with leather sofa. Twin bedroom with picture windows and countryside views. Bathroom with large clawfoot bath, toilet and Velux window.
