In the centre of a quaint canalside village this charming original cottage one of a pair combines contemporary country style with original beams and panelling to offer a lovely holiday home within reach of a host of visitor attractions. Alrewas has three dining pubs and a mix of shops and takeaways and there are lovely country walks along the canal tow path just 100 yards from the cottage. The National Memorial Aboretum is 0.5 miles away and Lichfield is 5 miles. Drayton Manor Twycross Zoo and Tamworth Snowdome are 12 miles away and Calke Abbey Shugborough and Sudbury Hall (NT) are 15 miles away. Alton Towers Trentham Gardens and the Peak District National Park are within an hour’s drive. Pub 200 yards shop 300 yards. Sitting room with electric ‘woodburner’ stove. Kitchen with dining area.
