Set in the beautiful village of Veryan on Cornwall’s dramatic Roseland Peninsula, this unusual detached holiday property is one of four round thatched houses built in 1820 by the Reverend Trist. They are said to have been built in the round so that the devil could not hide, and the crosses on top were intended to keep the devil away. Charming and well presented, Round House East lies close to the beaches, the coastal path and the dramatic Roseland coastline. Veryan has its own local pub, village shop and post office, and highlights such as Truro (via the King Harry ferry), St Mawes, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are all within an easy drive. Shop 300 yards.
