This romantic, 17th-century, attractive, thatched holiday cottage is tucked under a wooded bank and has a large, secluded and intriguing garden. Set in one of the most picturesque villages in Cornwall, it provides an idyllic base by the beautiful Helford River. Frenchman’s Creek, attractive pubs, fishing and village shop within walking distance. Golf, via ferry, half a mile. The sandy coves of the Lizard, riding stables and sailing facilities are within an 8-mile radius. Shop 100 yards, pub 150 yards.

Ground floor (low beamed ceilings throughout): Living room with open fire and French window to garden. Dining room with open fire in inglenook fireplace. Well-equipped kitchen. Scullery/boot room. Shower room with toilet. First floor: Two double bedrooms, one with 5ft bed and one with wash basin. Two small single bedrooms (2ft 6in beds). Small bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.
