Nestled in picturesque, historic Whitegate, this charming detached cottage peacefully enjoys one of the loveliest uninterrupted views over Cheshire out to the Pennines. Relax on the patio, watching the sun set over gently undulating hills and forests. Just 20 minutes from Roman Chester and 10 minutes from the beautiful Delamere Forest, this cosy cottage, in the owner’s grounds, is an ideal holiday base to explore Cheshire, Chester and Manchester. Chester Zoo, Oulton Park Racing Circuit, Arley Hall, Tatton Park and Beeston Castle nearby; countryside walks from the door. Shops 2 miles, pub 1 mile.

Large living room with high, pitched ceiling, exposed beams and wood-burning stove, open plan with oak/granite kitchen. Double bedroom with oak 5ft bed and contemporary en-suite bathroom with separate spacious shower cubicle and toilet. First floor: Cosy galleried reading area. Large twin bedroom with exposed beams, sloping ceilings and Velux windows.

"The cottage is set in a quiet peaceful area, is was very cosy and clean containing everything you may require. A bonus is off street parking, this was important to us as we had a hire car being visitors from overseas (Australia). The owners could not have"
